Hi, I’m Carolyn — the photographer behind WoofPix.

I’m a Durham-based pet photographer and lifelong dog lover, and WoofPix was created to celebrate the unique personalities of the pets who mean so much to us. Our dogs, cats and other companions are part of the family, and I believe they deserve portraits that capture their character and turn those moments into beautiful artwork for your home.

My own dog, Hector the lurcher, is often around the studio and has been my patient test model for many lighting ideas over the years. Living with a dog also means I completely understand that every pet is different — some are confident and full of energy, while others can be a little more cautious in new environments.

That’s why WoofPix studio sessions are designed to be relaxed and enjoyable for your pet. There’s no rush and no pressure for them to perform. With patience, treats and plenty of encouragement, I create a calm space where their personality can shine through naturally.

My style of photography is simple, timeless and focused entirely on your pet. Using professional studio lighting and carefully crafted backgrounds, I create portraits that highlight their expressions, character and individuality.

After your photoshoot, you’ll return to the studio for a viewing appointment where you can see your finished portraits and choose your favourites. WoofPix specialises in high-quality printed artwork — from elegant framed wall pieces to beautifully presented print boxes — so your pet’s portraits can be enjoyed every day rather than sitting unseen on a phone or computer.

WoofPix has been recognised internationally in the International Pet Photography Awards, including a Gold award and a Silver Distinction, which I’m incredibly proud of.
