WoofPix Pet Photography (“I”, “me”, or “the Photographer”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how your personal information is collected, used and stored in line with UK GDPR and UK Data Protection Legislation.

I may collect the following information when you enquire or book a session:

  • Your name and contact details (email, phone number, address).

  • Details about your pet(s) relevant to the session.

  • Information required for fulfilling orders (e.g. delivery address, product choices).

  • Any images taken during your session.

  • Payment information (handled securely by third-party processors – I do not store card details).

2. How your information is used

I use your information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and manage bookings.

  • Prepare for and conduct your photography session.

  • Process and deliver your orders.

  • Maintain business records and comply with legal obligations.

  • With your consent, send occasional updates or offers (you can unsubscribe at any time).

I only collect information that is necessary for providing my services.

3. Sharing your data

I do not sell your data.

I only share information when required to deliver your orders or run the business, for example with:

  • Professional print labs for product fulfilment,  Secure payment processors (e.g. Revolut), Website and email hosting providers.

These partners only receive the information necessary to perform their service and are required to protect your data.

4. Image usage

Your photographs remain the copyright of the Photographer.
Images may be used for portfolio, website, social media, marketing or competition entry as per the WoofPix Pet Photography Session Agreement. You may withdraw consent at any time, although previously published work may remain in place.

5. How your information is stored

Your data and images are stored securely using password-protected systems.
Images may be archived for future orders, unless you request deletion.

6. How long your data is kept

I keep:

  • Client contact details for up to 7 years for accounting and legal reasons.

  • Images for as long as they are needed for business purposes or until you request deletion.

  • Emails relating to bookings and orders for up to 3 years.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Request correction or deletion of your data.

  • Restrict or object to certain types of processing.

  • Withdraw consent for image usage at any time.
